Gym day

Early every Saturday morning my buddies and I get together to go work out at the gym. We have all been friends since high school and have been able to keep our friendships going all these years. These are the kind of friends that don’t tell you they are sorry if you get arrested for something stupid. They are the ones sitting beside you in jail saying “that was awesome”. Not that I have ever been in jail, I am just saying that is the kind of true friends that they are. Going to the gym with them is fun because we always make it a competition. Neither one of us can lift very much weight, but to hear us talk, you would think we are all supermen. After the gym we go out to breakfast at a huge buffet place my wife calls the “pig trough”. That is where we sit a talk about our lives and give each other advice about different things. It is kind of an accountability group where we keep each other accountable to each other so neither of us goes crazy or something. The other day we got to talking about our utilities in our homes. One guy said that he switched his gas and electricity companies after looking athttp://www.newyorkenergyrates.com/. I decided to take a look at that when I got home. That is what I like about hanging out with these guys. You are always picking up good tips and advice whether you want it or not.
Make her special this Mother’s day
Mother’s Day is fast approaching. Are you prepared for this day? Do you have something for your mother already? If you still don’t have gift ideas for your mother, it is good that you will search for it as early as now. And if you have the budget, it’s also a good idea that you will buy it ahead so that you can give the most precious woman a gift that will make her happy. You know, mother is one of the most important people in life that no one can replace. Make her special this Mother’s day!
Adjusting
Sometimes I am out of patience and it’s the reason why I can raise my voice so loud. Also, adjusting to mellow character is what I am doing right now. I just find it so hard to adjust and to be calm mostly when I remember those days of me hearing loud nagging and everything. I am not complaining though, but it’s just that I grew up to have an environment like that and so I am having a hard time adjusting to being calm and having lots of patience. Sigh!
It’s more than distinguished and extraordinary
Music plays a great role in the life of every person. Even if there are some people who will say that they don’t like music but in some part of their lives, they will hum songs without them knowing they’re doing it or perhaps they touch a musical instrument hoping they can play one. On the other hand, for those music lovers, they are doing their best to learn playing even just one musical instrument if not all. There are people also, who are collecting different musical instrument that interest them.
Now, speaking of musical instruments, there is one brand that is so adorable – the Gibson musical instruments. As what their tag name states “GIBSON – an extraordinary collection of distinguished instruments” in which this is more than distinguished and extraordinary because this brand will last a lifetime.
As for me, I truly admire all the Gibson guitars. How I wish I know how to play this musical instrument! If I happened to know how to play guitars, probably, this is one of my collections. Having guitar collections is a priceless thing to have. It doesn’t matter though if I don’t know how to play. What matters most is that I will introduce music to my kids and somehow I will enroll them at a musical school so that they will not be a frustrated person like me who loves musical instruments a lot but then the musical instrument will not love me back ‘coz of the thing that I need to learn in playing and using it. If ever music and playing guitar is one of their passions, I bet, I will help them have their Gibson guitar collections!

While waiting for the warm days of the year
Right now, I am looking for some patio furniture at PatioFurnitureUSA.com. I just want to be ready for the spring and summer seasons as I want to have a beautiful patio that will serve me whenever I want to lounge outside during the warm days. Aside from this, I also need to search on where I can buy cheap seeds or cheap plants so that I can surround my patio with beautiful plants and pretty flowers. Sigh, I can’t wait for the warm days of the year!
Making our place more beautiful
One of the things that we used during our slight renovation for our home was the toggle clamps. We easily mounted those things that we need. We also used different tools to speed up our renovation. True enough, after several days, we were finished. And the area that we wanted to fix looked so beautiful. With it, we were planning to do more renovation in our place. We just needed this thing so much to give a gift for our own home. We love our own place and the best thing that we can do is to fix the areas that needs to be fixed.
Soon, hope it will
Hope the i-net connection of my family will be fixed the soonest possible time as my lil bro needs it so badly. Though, I don’t know yet of when, but I am hoping it will be this week or even this month or early next month. Also, hope it will work on their VOIP so that I can save in calling them long distance.
Lost Job

My husband’s job transferred him, so we began to search for Texas Electricity Companies. Each move, each new job is a time to start over. Just recently, a good friend from back home lost his job. For months, I had been telling him that the writing was on the wall. Things just didn’t seem like they were going well for his company. Little by little, deals were falling apart. The company’s buyers were pulling out left and right, and financially the company was struggling. A huge warning sign came when the shipping company refused to pick up any more of their orders as they had not paid the shipping company in months. Their account had been de-activated, and only after months were they able to reinstate this. A few other things seemed to be indicators that the ship was sinking fast. Employees were not receiving their paychecks on schedule. For the last few months, paychecks were coming later and later. A few times, paychecks even bounced and new ones had to be issued. I kept telling my friend he needed to look for a new job. Being laid off seemed like it was in his unavoidable future. Sure enough, he was let go last week. The company has been scaled back as much as possible, and without orders coming in like they had in the past, my friend’s job was no longer needed. Every loss of a job brings with it fear of the unknown but also hope that something better is out there.

I can remember, my motto is like this “Life is what we make it”. I’ve got this ever since my elementary days. And now that I am almost 40 years old, I still have this thing. Although there are times that I tend to blame things and people, but when I will recall this line, it will always reminds me that it’s just me who make my life and it’s the reason why I am here and I am still alive! TYG!
